ELLMS Recognized as “Program of the Year” By Regional Environmental Education Association

Congratulations to ELLMS on being awarded New England Environmental Education Alliance's 2018 “Program of the Year!" The ELLMS (Environmental Living and Learning for Maine Students) Collaborative is a partnership among five residential environmental learning centers in Maine (including The Ecology School). The “Program of the Year” award recognizes ELLMS partners' dynamic 3-5 day residential programs that build classroom community, make environmental science come alive, and nurture health, resilience and leadership in students. In early November, Drew Dumsch traveled to Vermont for NEEEA's annual conference and to accept the award (with an inspiring speech on creating joyful learning experiences!) on ELLM's behalf.
