The Ecology School’s Director of Programs to Serve as Maine Environmental Educational Association’s Next Board President

Alex Grindle has served on the Board of MEEA since 2016, holding the position of Secretary since then. This summer, she’ll assume the role as Board President, working with the MEEA Board and Executive Director, Olivia Griset, to continue building support for the presence of environmental education throughout the State of Maine.

“Alex is deeply committed to advancing environmental education in Maine and empowering educators to lead forward powerful environmental learning opportunities in their communities.  Alex is passionate about our vision that ALL Maine kids deserve access to nature-based and outdoor education opportunities in school and in their community.,” said Olivia Griset, MEEA’s Executive Director.
