Homeschool Week With The Ecology School

Audience: 3rd-8th grade students and an adult chaperone. Younger and older students welcome, though curriculum geared to above 3rd-8th levels

Homeschool week at The Ecology School offers a unique experience for families and adult/child teams to engage in exciting, hands-on scientific exploration outdoors. Attendees will have an opportunity to connect with other homeschool families, learn outdoors together, and explore southern Maine at a beautiful time of year. The four days will include community-building meals, outdoor lessons taught by trained educators, and downtime to explore, follow curiosities, and reset for more adventures. 

Over the course of their stay, participants will immerse themselves in ecosystem exploration, notice patterns across environments, and discover cycles & changes that have unfolded for millions of years! Our Educators and staff create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all families and provide access to the scientific skills & practices needed to understand the complexities of our world.
