Spend the weekend at The Ecology School’s River Bend Farm campus helping care for our beautiful buildings & outdoor spaces. Volunteer Weekend is a chance to lend a helping hand, connect with others, eat delicious food, and enjoy our beautiful lodging—at no cost to you.

Some volunteer projects around campus include:

• Trail work

• Building maintenance

• Invasive species removal

• Putting the farm field to bed for the winter

• & more!

Whether you come for the full weekend or just for a day, there will be time to work hard, eat well, relax, and soak in the beauty of the changing season in Saco, Maine. Families, couples, friends, and solo volunteers are all welcome. Well-supervised children are encouraged to join alongside their adults.

Your weekend includes shared meals, community time, and optional on-campus lodging at no cost. (Donations are happily accepted to help offset food and lodging expenses.)
